Chandigarh/ Ludhiana: August 27, 2026: JSW MG Motor India has unveiled the new MG Hector Tomahawk, introducing it with both Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) powertrain options. The SUV is the first product engineered on the company’s ADAPT (Advanced Drive Architecture Platform Technology) and India’s first multi-new energy vehicle (NEV) platform.
The MG Hector Tomahawk EV starts at an introductory ₹13.99 lakh, while the PHEV version starts at ₹21.79 lakh under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. With the new SUV, MG aims to offer customers greater flexibility in choosing between electrified powertrain technologies.

Futuristic Design and Spacious Cabin
The Hector Tomahawk features a bold and futuristic exterior with a commanding road presence. It measures 4,745 mm in length, 2,130 mm in width including mirrors and 1,770 mm in height, along with a 2,810 mm wheelbase.
The SUV offers a claimed 230 mm ground clearance on battery, while its spacious cabin is designed to provide enhanced comfort and practicality for families.
Exterior highlights include sculpted dynamic bumpers, signature beacon lights, an illuminated MG logo, distinctive rotor alloy wheels and strong character lines. The SUV also gets an automatic power tailgate for easier access to the cargo area.
Two Electrified Powertrain Choices
The Hector Tomahawk is being positioned as a key addition to MG’s expanding NEV portfolio. By offering both EV and PHEV options, the company is targeting customers with different driving requirements while focusing on cleaner and more flexible mobility solutions.
The launch also marks the beginning of MG’s next-generation product strategy based on the ADAPT platform, with a focus on connected technology, safety, premium comfort and electrified performance.
