The 108 Ambulance team from Tarn Taran once again demonstrated that honesty and responsibility remain at the core of its emergency services. The crew attending a roadside accident case ensured the safe return of the patient’s valuables to his family after providing timely medical assistance.
The 108 Ambulance responded to a roadside accident involving Surinder Singh (45) from Amritsar. After providing immediate pre-hospital emergency care, the patient was referred from Civil Hospital Tarn Taran to Government Medical College, Amritsar for advanced treatment. The emergency team, comprising Pilot Ravinder Singh and EMT Arshdeep Singh, not only ensured the patient’s safe transportation but also safeguarded his belongings. During the transfer, ₹20,000 in cash and a mobile phone were found in the ambulance. The crew responsibly handed over both items to the patient’s attendant before completing the case, demonstrating exemplary honesty and professionalism.
