At least four people were killed and two others were injured after an LPG tanker caught fire following a crash near the Sihori Toll Plaza in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi district. The incident occurred on the morning of June 26 under the Kokhraj police station limits when the tanker, travelling from Kanpur to Varanasi, allegedly lost control and rammed into a divider.

According to police, the impact caused a major gas leak, which quickly spread before the tanker erupted into a massive fireball, engulfing the surrounding area in flames. Two toll plaza workers sustained injuries in the incident and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The death toll has now risen to four.
CCTV footage of the accident has surfaced, capturing the terrifying moments when the speeding tanker crashed into the divider, followed by the explosion. Police and fire department teams responded swiftly to the scene, while authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
