BJP’s Ratna Debnath Registers Big Win in Panihati, Defeats TMC Rival by 28,000+ Votes

In a significant political development in West Bengal, Ratna Debnath has secured a decisive victory from the Panihati विधानसभा सीट, winning by a margin of over 28,000 votes. Debnath defeated Tirthankar Ghosh of the Trinamool Congress, marking a major boost for the BJP in the state elections.

According to the Election Commission of India, Debnath polled 87,977 votes, while Ghosh secured 59,141 votes. CPI(M) candidate Kalatan Dasgupta remained a distant third with 24,032 votes.

The result comes amid BJP’s strong performance across West Bengal, indicating a major shift in the state’s political landscape.
